Met Joan for cafe hopping today!
First stop: The Orange Thimble @ 56 Eng Hoon Road, Tiong Bahru...
The interior concept is really lovely and there's 3 different areas to sit in. I, personally like the backyard sitting but the weather was really hot and sunny so we opted to sit where we could enjoy the aircon!
I ordered an Oxtail Bone stew with Baguette to accompany! It was truly yummy!!
And then I got myself a cup of Strawberry Smoothie and Joan got a cup of Macchiato!
We just spent some time catching up with each other and mostly, hear what I've been missing out on in Joan's life until we decided to hop to another cafe for a second round of chilling!
Next stop: L'etoile cafe @ 160 Owen Road, Farrer Road...
It's two-storeys and we went up to rest and relax upstairs. We took the couch corner where both of us just ended up with a cup of Caramel Macchiato Expresso and a pot of Hanami tea, lazing and slumbering into the serenity of the ambience.
Love meeting Joan, always. She's just retarded, sometimes lame and mostly chirpie. It brings me good vibes and makes me laugh, sometimes diverting my attention away from troubles and miseries.
I wish we could have more time to spend together like this.
