Slowly, day by day, I let a piece of us go. And for the next 3 years, I'll keep doing so and as I do that, I'll fill myself with new pieces to replace the void and make peace with the loss. You're irreplaceable. I won't pretend that I've ever loved you before and vice versa but you'll just become another person that I've crossed paths with.
